Opening on the 18th May, The Peligoni Club in Zakynthos, Greece unveils its exciting new 2024 calendar of events.
After the huge success of the launch of PACE wellness week in 2022, the club is set to welcome ultra-marathon runners, Olympic medallists and watersport champions across not one, but two PACE weeks in May and October. There’s also a delicious line-up of weekly guest chefs to look forward to, and the legendary annual House Party. Plus, there’s a roster of activities designed for kids of all ages, with TARKA Kids’ Club’s overseas debut.
There are big names to keep an eye out for; get into the 2024 Olympic spirit – cycle with world champion Sir Chris Hoy, swim with silver medallist Kerri-anne Payne and race with ultra-runners Nick Butter and Lewis Robling. Ride the waves with exhilarating new Wingfoiling guided by world champion, Bowien van der Linden, and wakeboarding with pro rider, Lee Debuse. Introduce little ones to the Peligoni Olympics with the all-new active kids’ club TARKA and indulge in unforgettable long-table feasts with the likes of Legare, Big Mamma, Sabor and Bar Crispin.

MAY
Highlights: PACE Wellness Week kicks off the season
18th – 26th May: With the best of British talent soon to be on show for a bumper season of sport, May kicks off with an incredible sporting line up for Peligoni’s first PACE Wellness Week. Get racing with ultra-marathon runner, Nick Butter; tune up your top spin with ATP pro, James Auckland; perfect your front crawl and try ice bathing with Olympic silver medallist Keri-anne Payne; and hop on a saddle with multi-world champion track cyclist, Sir Chris Hoy MBE.
Other PACE highlights include: A range of fitness and yoga sessions with Oyogo; bold, flavourful and vibrant food by Oklava head chef, Selin Kiazim and the Irish twins, Happy Pear; life drawing with Brighton artist, Bella Franks, makeup masterclass with founder of Well Curated, Camilla Hewitt and sound meditation with IO Project. JUNE
Highlights: Wingfoiling clinic, plus Guest Chef appearances from top London restaurants and more
8th – 23rd June: To celebrate the launch of wingfoiling lessons at the club, watersport fanatics can join the sports champion Bowien van der Linden for a two-week summer residency. This exhilarating sport combines the best elements of windsurfing and kitesurfing with a hydrofoil board and hand-held inflatable wing.
June Guest Chefs include: Gourmands will love the Ecuadorian-inspired feast cooked over smouldering embers by chef Ana Ortiz of Somerset’s Fire Made, a colourful and memorable Mexican banquet with London’s Cavita, and a delicious Asian-inspired menu from chef, broadcaster and restaurant owner, Julie Lin. And, at the end of the month, Bar Crispin’s head chef will take his iconic Spitalfields market eatery to Greece with an incredible one-off feast. Find out more here.
JULY & AUGUST
Highlights: School’s Out with kids’ fun for all ages + the all-new TARKA
Alongside a roster of activities for all ages (3 months - teenagers), for the first time TARKA will be leading the childcare activities for 6–10 year olds at Peligoni. With an emphasis on physical activity and fun, children are invited to join exciting pursuits including The Peligoni Olympics, The Poseidon Pool party and Secret Spy. Every session ends with a wellness wind down time, focusing on breathwork and stretching – a core part of the TARKA experience.
Other family highlights include: A range of watersports, new sailing classes and incredible dining throughout, with long-table feasts, Peligoni parties, lunchtime pop ups and pizza nights. Find out more here.
SEPTEMBER
Highlights: Learn to wakeboard with a pro, plus dive into the magic of the Peligoni House Party with live music, magic, comedy and guest chefs.
31st August – 14th September: Learn to wakeboard with British Team Coach and one of the most respected names in British wakeboarding, Lee Debuse.
21st – 29th September: The annual House Party transforms Peligoni into a hub of live music, DJ sets by the sea, artistic workshops, comedy nights and feasts, featuring Sabor and Big Mamma.
September Guest Chefs include: Experience the deep-rooted passion of visionary restaurateur, Florence of London’s Donia as she shares her cultural heritage through modern Fillipino sharing plates in a long table feast and pop up. Other highlights include seasonal menus with Alex Head of Social Pantry, and Jay Patel and Matthew Beardmore of one of London’s hottest restaurants, Legare, for some Italian dining. OCTOBER
Highlights: PACE Wellness Week & October Half Term with TARKA
5th – 13th October: As the summer draws to a close, be inspired to lace up your trainers once more with ultra-runner Lewis Robling; ride with Sir Chris Hoy or perfect your backhand with Tennis pro James Auckland during PACE Wellness Week. Finish the day on the Club’s crystal-clear waters with a paddle activity on one of the SUPs or kayaks, or join wellbeing expert and bestselling author Jasmine Hemsley for either her immersive sound baths - using the harmonics of gemstone and crystal alchemy to create a grounding experience – or an Ayurveda workshop to learn about this ancient Indian science.
19th October – 3rd November: TARKA will be back once again for October Half Term alongside a host of exciting shenanigans and tailored activities for children.
October Guest Chefs include: With eight bestselling books, including ‘The 5 o’clock apron’, Claire Thomson will be heading to Zakynthos to cook up delicious and uncomplicated family dishes, while Dom from Paradise Soho will deliver fiery dishes with his one-off Sri Lankan evening feast.
