We’re hiring a restaurant & Food pr Account Manager

Here at The Lifestyle Collective we do things a little differently - we have a hands-on, personable approach to media relations and communications. We see ourselves as an extension of our client’s teams, we’re part of their daily life - able to adapt accordingly to the varying needs of the fast-paced world of hospitality.

We are on the look-out for a super smart account manager to join our small team. Job titles aren’t really our thing - we’re more interested in finding someone who will be the right fit, that’s as passionate about our collection of wonderful clients as we are. You must have a love for the best of British hospitality.

This role is a super exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, dynamic, independent business - we don’t follow the standard agency format or corporate way of working. Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in?

 
 

ABOUT YOU:

 
 

What we’re on the look-out for:

3 - 5 years PR experience in Restaurant PR

Thrives in a flexible, autonomous environment

Someone with their finger on the pulse of the best publications, brands, journalist moves and influencer happenings

You’ll be passionate about food and the British restaurant scene and you’re a team player with a creative flair and love of organisation

You’ll embrace variety and be well versed at juggling multiple clients, deadlines and be able to prioritise tasks to help get the job done well 

Have a love for the written word and be brilliant at crafting pitches, have a keen eye for a story and the contacts to seal the deal

Be social media savvy, with a good sense for what works and a great knowledge of influencers and ambassadors across travel, design, fashion and wellbeing (experience in social media management and content creation a huge bonus!)

We’re a small team with a refreshing way of working, hierarchy means nothing here – so a hunger to get stuck in, be accountable with a desire to be an essential part of the team is a must


Your role would include:

Management of press lists, industry contacts & high level of email interaction on day-to-day basis

Efficiently responding to all press enquiries and journo alerts

Proactive media outreach, pitching, story placement, image requests and editorial fact-checking

Management of monthly client reports

Copywriting – for clients, journalist pitches, websites and social, press releases and much more

Establishing and nurturing relationships with journalists across travel and wider lifestyle spheres (expenses included).

Establishing and nurturing relationships with super cool brands, ambassadors and influencers - our approach is always 360!

Influencer and tastemaker outreach

Liaison with clients to share results and exciting new opportunities

Managing all press bookings and review trips
