Sleeps 2; from £170 a night

Surrounded by woodland and heather-clad hill, this thoughtfully designed cabin in the Stiperstones Nature Reserve has no WiFi. It’s just a short hike up to Devil’s Chair or Cranberry Rock, two craggy tors shrouded in mysticism. Thanks to the owners’ rewilding efforts, the surrounding woods are alive with wildlife; bring binoculars and listen for the tap-tapping of woodpeckers. As dusk calls, take a flask of tea up to Nipstone Rock to sit and watch the light fade from the sky. Then it’s back to the firepit, to listen to the crackling of flames and hooting of owls. The digital detox of dreams.
